This beautiful piece instantly caught my eye when I was looking through the search results for the akatsuki in kimonos because I truly love the beauty of kimonos. Sasori was a wonderful stoic, artistic character on his own but you have brought even more beauty to the character than I think Misashi ever could. The color scheme is amazing and I adore how the red, blue, and yellow come together in perfect harmony and balance. The background with the writing is beautiful and the cursive writing also plays into the beauty. I also enjoy the words that are layed across the piece some hidden while others stand out continuously compliment the piece. Sasori's elegant and delicate features are also beautifully crafted and his expression befits him perfectly. All in all this piece has left an amazing impact and I truly envy your skill, and for this you deserve only the best ratings.
This is definately a breath taking piece of work! You've included so many different techniques and colours that it certainly strikes my fancy It managed to catch my eye instantly within my message box.
The colours are definatley what effect me most when I look at this, I think the way you've managed to blend different areas makes the picture become a whole and brings it all together around the main focus, being Sasori. It's certainly a very original idea, as It's rare we see dear ol' Sasori surrounded by a variety of colours, with him living in the desert and all. One could go as far to say as it's too colourful when put into that context. However there are a sufficiant amount of red's, yellow's, orange and beige for me to view them relevant
One thing I don't quite like is the shaded area just where Sasori's head and neck join. I think that there's no need for it, as your use of creating tonal range with the colours would've made for a better substitute.
Overall, I simply adore this Sasori's calm, somewhat affectionate expression makes this entire thing pleasant to look at
wooooow! This is so awesome! I never would have imagined Sasori in a jumble of colours, but you've pulled it off so well! He looks at piece in a wild world of art
